OUR ISLAND
OF GUERNSEY
Guernsey is the second largest of the Channel Islands and has a population of around 65,000. It boasts some beautiful bays and countryside as well as a beautiful town called St Peter Port.
The south coast has a continuous cliff path which runs from St Peter Port to Pleinmont, a distance of around 16 miles. This path takes the visitor past many beautiful beach coves , small harbours, woodland including a bluebell wood. Parts of this area appear in a number of paintings by Renoir.
